Bakhoor is one of the oldest rituals of welcome in the world — fragrant wood chips and resins burned over charcoal, the smoke rising through a home or majlis as a sign of hospitality and blessing. Boswellia sacra trees grow wild in the limestone mountains of Dhofar, in southern Oman, at elevations above 1,200 metres. The trees are tapped — shallow cuts made into the bark — and the milky sap that bleeds out and hardens into translucent yellow-green tears is Hojari frankincense. Its quality is unmatched globally. How to Wear
Apply to wrists and neck. OMANI BAKHOOR is one of the most versatile attars in the collection — clean enough for daily professional wear, warm enough for evenings. It performs differently on different skin types. A dryer skin will read it as more resinous; warmer skin will bring out the amber. A single drop lasts 8–12 hours.
